Purchase

Generally, I've made purchasing as simple as a shopping cart can be. I'm always adding available sizes and pricing is subject to change without notice. I will however do my best to keep the pricing current and for any difference between the on-screen price and your checkout totals, I'll make sure you don't come out on the bad end. Unforeseen circumstances may intervene, but you will be informed before any printing commences. If there is no price listed, it just means I haven't determined a price.

Custom sizes are available. Smaller sizes are the norm and I generally don't charge for that file prep time. After I make a smaller size I can then offer it as a regular item, so I don't mind. Custom cropping can be done as well, with prior arrangement. Custom colors can be done as well, since it's computer generated art I can manipulate the color to my hearts content. In certain instances I may send you a very small file to manipulate (Photoshop) and you can then send me the specifications of the changes you made. I will then manipulate the source file and send it to print. Once again prior arrangement is required. What I will not do is 'stretch' or 'squeeze' any file. I also will not/cannot render "extra" image outside of what you see. I also cannot start with user supplied images and 'fractalize' them.

Each work is printed on demand and each order is a custom order, handled directly by me. I look at each print made and there is no 'production run' as such. Therefore, there are NO RETURNS for any reason other than shipping damage which must be verified with the shipper through their claim process. Each print is insured upon shipment.

Color is always a stickler. Some people are very particular about absolute color, others not so much. Since I can have no way of knowing what your monitor looks like, all I can say is the colors are close. In many cases the gamut on my prints is far wider than can be made on inkjet printers. For this reason on prints up to 48" I provide LightJet prints. This is a 'Type C' photographic process and yeilds museum quality prints with virtually unlimited lifetimes. At present anything wider than 48" mandates an inkjet technology and can have effects on the color. If you are in doubt of the color then, by prior arrangement, we can print a small version for approval. This is time consuming and NOT FREE! Each test print, (8" x 10") is $25 plus shipping.  All orders take a minimum of 2 weeks for production, shipping takes additional time.

Payment is in full and in advance. No 'time payments', no C.O.D., no 30-60-90 days, no credit, no sob stories, no kidding. No chargebacks either. Printing commences within a day or two after the order goes through and payment is received, so there are no cancellations after that point. If you change your mind you'd better be quick about it. If you want to pay with a paper instrument (cash, check, money order, cashier's check) then we can do that. I will wait until the funds clear the bank before commencing. If you decide to be so foolish as to send me bogus payment, as one fellow did, be assured that not only will you not receive a print, but the authorities will be informed. I'm not a big fan of bounced check charges, either.

Image reuse can be done with prior arrangement, licensing fees may apply. I like book covers, illustrations and other uses in general. Just send me an e-mail and I'll try to work out something with you. From time to time I've found people appropriating my images as backgrounds for websites and such. I'm generally OK with that if you're not charging people to look at your content AND you credit me. My website stats show where the images get served, so if I find a couple dozen downloads you can be pretty sure I'll have a look.
